A TYPICAL SAN SEBASTIAN BAR

LA CEPA is one of the classic bars of the Old Part in San Sebastian which has always stood out for the quality of its products.

LA CEPA is one of those establishments which doesn´t need any introduction at all. Since 1948 when it opened its doors it has become one of the obligatory stops for the popular "poteo"(having wines from one bar to another). The locals enjoy the hams: from Jabugo, of course, and also the rest of the sausages, they have their own fame and the typical little pans of octopus made in the Galician way, snails, tripes, home made meat balls…they already are a real classic on the menu.

Joaquín Pollos is the new owner of this place, which shows tradition and who wants to continue on the same line which has always characterized it from the beginning and he wants to continue to offer an eating place of the highest quality of food. However, although the bar will continue being "the one of always", this professional landlord has extended the menu. We can´t forget the wines, because LA CEPA has a wide selected collection , which includes wines from the best wine-cellars from La Rioja and from Rivera del Duero, as Joaquín Pollos points out, a great expert in wine tasting.
